[Goth/Industrial Live] Featuring cyber-goths Psydoll, tactical industrialists 2Bullet and wickedly cool Sawdust in Me this promises to be one helluva night. They will be joined by Gregor Samsa and Re:Del. The event starts early so you should expect an extended night of La Machinerie (yeah, I’m a Psycho Bitch fan!).

Incidentally, if you have not done so already, 2Bullet has released its new EP, Anarchism, for free download online, just Go here to hear their latest material – it rocks.

Club Theatic Show #12 @ Cube 326

The next iteration of the revitalized Club Theatic takes place at Studio 326, an event arena with up to three floors of events going on at the same time. This event takes place on a Sunday evening allowing you to get the darkness out before the week begins. Live acts feature Psydoll and Gadget. and DJ’s include Wakana and Chihiro.

Tokyo Cyber Monster #4 @ Cube 326

Cyber Monster is just that, a monster cyber-themed party taking place in the three-tiered Studio Cube 326. The DJ’s include Sisen, Takuya Angel and Chihiro. Live sets include Vespa Kumamero, 2Bullet and Cold+Sleep. There will also be special gigs from Soyuz Project and Temple of Tears from Australia. Along with the music and screaming there will also be a bevvy of GoGo-virtual girls including Psydoll’s Nekoi! There will also be exhibitions from a few underground artists and even a replica fang booth!

Overall it sounds like a fun way to spend your Sunday!

Psydoll pictures from Neuromancer event

Psydoll picturesDecember 26 was a Monday and the icey rain was coming down hard. That didn’t stop me from heading out to the Neuromancer event featuring Psydoll (info) and Musu Bore, among others.

Turnout was expectedly light, but the bands were doing their thing on stage, the bar was open, and those who braved the sudden cold snap got a dose of Cyber – things were good.

I only really watched Psydoll and Musu Bore. Both bands put on a good performance and, despite my suit dripping all over the club, I had a pretty darned good time. Actually, truth be told, I enjoyed racing through the rain to the club as it felt like I was in some dark Gibsonian novel. I also got a chance to chat with Nekoi Psydoll and met another mad Monday gaijin (hi Synboi!). A nice night.

There are only a handful of photos in the pixie gallery here – I am still getting used to my new just-out-of-date digicam.

Psydoll are taking a short break, but should be back in February when Tokyo begins to thaw out ready for Spring eventing.
