How is this for in-your-face, or should I say in-your ear advertising.
Net Audio Ads is a pay-per-play advertising platform offering an audio-only advertising channel. The system works using a bid management style similar to that of Google’s Adwords, but with one important difference, publishers get paid based on their traffic rather than being click-based.
The system allows advertisers to deliver a five second audio advertisement to all Web site visitors. This allows advertisers to get a quick “HELLO!” to their target audience based on specific interests, demographic and location.
The system has been running for over two-an-a-half years, has 66,000 advertisers and is on over 550,000 Web sites delivering a total of up to 43 million audio impressions a month.
Currently the system has a lucrative affiliate program that will cease come February 1, 2008. After February 1, 2008, the program converts to a “Host Only” model, meaning you will only make revenue from the ads placed on your own site. However, any site that signs up now for the Affiliate Program will continue to participate and share in affiliate revenue after February 1, 2008. Anybody wanting to maximize their revenue from Net Audio Ads should consider registering before February 1, 2008 for the free affiliate program.
Don’t worry if you stumbled across this post after February 1, I am sure there will be other opportunities available.
You know I have just got to try this out, so apologies in advance for any strange commercials appearing on the site.
