iTheeSnap.com offers Wedding photo solutions

Here is something a little different for JGoth.com, but I do find it quite interesting.

Chicago-based I Thee Snap, Inc. has come up with a novel wedding recording solution. It works on the premise that while many people will be taking photographs throughout the wedding, most of these records will disappear from view, stored in shoe boxes or the like, leaving the only recordings of the formal moments those taken by professional photographers of the couple and their family. iTheeSnap.com handles this dilemma by offering a full photographic package providing guests with premium quality FujiFilm cameras, providing film development, negatives, prints, photo DVD, free shipping and online photo sharing.

iTheeSnap.com automatically scans, uploads and creates a secure web album that allows full photo-sharing access for wedding attendees. In essence this provides an total, convenient solution to ensuring that all attendees (not to mention those who could not make the wedding) a chance to see all the moments of the wedding uploaded online or via DVD or obtaining hard copies of particular photographs with ease through the Internet.

At first glance, I thought this was a little strange, but the more I thought about the idea, the more it made sense to me. Having a database to events throughout the wedding would be really cool (I remember that we don’t have many photos of our ceremony). There would be pictures of what happened, and everyone could get an overall view of the events of the big day.

In fact I thought “why just weddings?” This kind of service could be applied to other major events as well - birthdays, Christmas parties, family re-unions and the like. Could you imagine the results if we did this at Tokyo Dark Castle’s Halloween Night parade?! Wow, that would be a photo album worth seeing!
