Remember when you came to JP Goth? You didn’t just reach another Web site, you signed up for a mission. That mission is to bring J-Goth and it’s ilk to the masses… sound exciting? Good.
The Mission
I’m writing to let you know great things are afoot and the time is right for us to move. Don’t worry, you don’t have to move too far. In fact you probably don’t have to get out of that comfy chair you are sitting in now.
Introducing Gadget
The young psychedelics of Gadget have taken a bold step into the world outside Japan by dropping free MP3s into the CNET music download center. They are already riding at number 26 in the Indie Rock chart, but I think they can do better.
Download for the good of Goth!
This is where we come in. We are the all-powerful consumer of free music and we can drag Gadget (kicking and screaming if necessary) closer to the top of the pile. All it takes is for us to download each of the tunes (there are SIX of them) for our own enjoyment, and maybe introduce a friend or two to check out some fresh sounds from Japan’s indie scene.
Make a Difference!
If everyone from here downloads all SIX then we will have over 350 downloads. If each of us gets a couple of friends to follow suit then that will make over 1,000 downloads! Your friends will love you for introducing them to some great music from Japan and you will know you did you bit for raising the profile of the scene.
